Countdown to EDC !!!

                                                           

 The 2013 Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas is exactly SIX months away!!! Unless you were one of the lucky ones and got your tickets with the early bird sale, then you need to mark this day down: JANUARY 9TH 2013  EDC tickets officially go on sale! This year they are offering "layaway" for your tickets, so you would have 5 monthly payments of about $60 instead of having to cough up $300 right away. I think this is great, because then you can reserve your ticket in January and you don't risk waiting until last minute to buy your ticket once you have enough money saved up and then run into the problem of the tickets being sold out!

In honor of the excitement and anticipation of EDC, I am going to do a post about EDC every 2 weeks until the first official day of EDC is finally here! So stay tuned!! Each post I will give you information about EDC, give you ideas about outfits for EDC, where to stay in Las Vegas, events going on during the Official EDC Week, and answer any questions you may have! EDC is the place to be!! If you have never been, or even if you have been before, this is an historic event you don't want to miss out on! EDC 2012 was attended by 300,000 plus people! Celebrities attend EDC as well, last year Paris Hilton arrived by helicopter, as well as Holly Madison!

The first EDC was held in California in 1997. It has become so popular and well known that Insomniac Events holds EDC events in Nevada, Colorado, Florida, New Jersey, Texas and Puerto Rico!

Most raves have one head lining DJ, but EDC has them all!!! Famous DJ's headline at EDC all weekend on multiple stages. The best known DJ's such as: Tiesto, Wolfgang Gartner, Calvin Harris, Avicii, SKRILLEX,  Flux Pavilion, Deadmau5, and Benny Benassi, will all perform at EDC and MANY, many, many more!!! Even the DJ's know that EDC is thee place to be!
